eCommerce New Business Director

The Integer Group is searching for a Director of Business Development, eCommerce to help drive new business growth for our expanding digital capabilities.

This role’s primary purpose is to develop lead generation and deliver new digital sales revenue from prospective clients. This includes managing the entire sales lifecycle including: 

  • Identifying target sectors and customer profiling
  • Building a prospect database
  • Prospect nurturing
  • Delivering sales presentations
  • Own and lead fulfillment of RFI/RFP requests
  • Close the sale

With our growing portfolio of digital products there exists an abundant opportunity to unlock significant growth through our holistic services in DTC, Social Commerce, eCRM and eRetail.  This position will be compensated through a mix of base salary and Commission.

Main responsibilities include

  • Lead generation with potential clients for Social Commerce, Direct to Consumer, eCRM and Online Retail (primary focus is Amazon: both SEO and SEM / paid search) 
  • Work closely with a cross-functional team of eCommerce experts across UX, SEO, eRetail, Social, Analytics, eCRM, Creative, Strategy, Tech and Development to understand the space in order to sell effectively
  • Own and lead development of prospect RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs
  • With assistance from the eCommerce team, develop Master Service Agreements (MSA), Statements of Work (SOW), and scopes for delivery appropriately scaled to the client work needed
  • Travel for prospect meetings, client meetings, and trade shows to evangelize Integer’s eCommerce capabilities.
  • Can command a room and is viewed by others as an expert in the eCommerce space 
  • Sound financial acumen to develop excellent and properly scoped statements of work
  • Drive eCommerce growth through incremental business and new business pitching
  • Represent Integer across the industry, in trade press and at conferences
  • Develop eCommerce sales materials and case studies

Skills, Personal Attributes and Attitude:

  • Solid understanding of eCommerce with a mix of Social, eCRM, DTC, Digital Shelf/Amazon, Technical and Sales knowledge
  • Demonstrate understanding of eCommerce business drivers and project commercials
  • Organized, proactive, self-directed, high attention to detail and comfortable working on multiple new business leads with tight deadlines
  • Stays current on emerging eCommerce technologies and trends
  • Excellent collaborative skills, ability to present to clients, a real people person
