Talent Acquisition Recruiter

EMS Software is looking for a full-time Talent Acquisition Recruiter. This role will own and drive our talent acquisition strategy. We’re not looking for someone who simply smiles and dials. We’re looking for a professional that can identify and close top talent across technical- and business-side roles. A first-class candidate experience is the driving factor in all that we do in People Operations, and it is the first step in our total employee experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and drive the organization’s recruiting strategy, single-handedly managing our active requisition load
  • Build high-quality pipeline through thorough research and regular sourcing
  • Maintain ownership of our ATS, including workflows, integrations, and workforce education
  • Actively collaborate with marketing on executing our employer brand strategy
  • Own the requisition approval process and create job postings that bring life to our brand, values, and culture
  • Establish and manage vendor partnerships (job boards, HR/Recruiting technology, staffing, etc.)
  • Facilitate candidate debriefing sessions and advise our team on making data-driven hiring decisions
  • Draft offer letters, educate candidates on benefits/rewards, and solicit completion of NDAs
  • Capture, analyze, and report on recruiting metrics as well as identify opportunities to drive improved results
  • Champion EMS Software as an employer of choice in the local tech community, attending meetups and identifying opportunities for our workforce to get involved outside our four walls

Other Ways You’ll Contribute:

  • Participate in the recruitment forecasting process and provide counsel on when to begin recruiting
  • Conduct interviewer training and propose new and improved methods for evaluating candidates
  • Assist the People Operations Team with conducting exit interviews and identifying trends
  • Manage staff augmentation, including independent contractor agreements, SOWs, coordination with A/P
  • In partnership with the VP of Human Resources, run point on job description creation, review, and audits; assist with bench-marking and providing counsel regarding salary ranges, increases, etc.
  • Might support business unit with respect to professional development and performance management initiatives

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of high-volume, full-lifecycle recruiting
  • Hands-on experience recruiting in the software industry and can equally hold your own on pre-screens with Sales Account Executives as you can with Senior Developers
  • A track record of sourcing passive candidates (e., you know more about Boolean than just how to spell it)
  • Highly proficient at coaching and managing stakeholders in a demanding, fast-paced technical environment
  • Ability to track and present metrics (e.g., source effectiveness, open-to-close, offer-acceptance)
  • Skilled negotiator with a high close rate
  • General knowledge of various employment laws and practices
  • Influential, consultative, autonomous, diplomatic, and process-oriented

 You’ll Stand Out If:

  • You’ve recruited technologists proficient in GO, ReactJS, and public cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • You’ve proven successful as a one-person recruiting shop
  • Track record of slashing budgets on external staffing vendors
  • Experienced with Greenhouse ATS
