Head of People Operations

We're looking for a Head of People Operations who will join our leadership team and drive continuous improvement for the culture and people of the organization. As our first People Operations hire, you will have a significant impact on our company, working out of Bonusly HQ in Boulder, CO.

What you’ll do: 

  • Collaborate with the executive team to realize the company’s vision and mission 
  • Develop strategic People Ops plans and policies (recruiting, performance management, training, compensation etc.) 
  • Decide and act on initiatives for equal opportunity, diversity, inclusion etc. 
  • Assume responsibility of labor relations 
  • Ensure all procedures comply with legal regulations and practices 
  • Analyze the effectiveness of People Ops operations, processes and policies 
  • Assist and advise our clients and customer success team 
  • Act as a strategic partner to the CEO and other executives 
  • Provide feedback and insight to the Product team

Qualifications you have: 

  • Experience in an ambitious environment 
  • Proven excellence in a senior People Ops role 
  • Advanced training in Organizational Psychology, Behavioral Economics, Human Resource Management, or similar field 
  • Deep knowledge of performance management, culture building, recruitment, etc. 
  • Track record of using metrics and analytics to make data-informed decisions 
  • Knowledge of local, state, and national labor law 
  • Strong interpersonal skills 
  • Well-organized with excellent leadership qualities 
  • Proven management skills with the ability to train, influence and engage direct and indirect reports and peers 
  • Strong work ethic and initiative with a very positive attitude 
  • Ability to represent Bonusly at conferences and events
  • Sense of humor, ability to adapt to change, no-job-too-small attitude
