Fireside Chat w/ William Loopesko- Founder and CEO of Pupptech
We are excited to partner with our sponsor Digi to offer an insightful talk about challenges and road map of building an IoT product from the ground up.
A little bit about Digi...
By the time you finish reading this sentence, more than 23 billion connected IoT devices around the world will transmit over 430 trillion bytes of data communications across applications in smart cities, transportation systems, medical operations, precision agriculture and industrial environments, allowing us to access critical information instantaneously. The devices and machines that operate in the most demanding environments rely on IoT solutions from Digi.
William Loopesko is the founder, CEO and chief visionary of PuppTech an IoT pet-technology company.
With a BA in geology and a Masters Degree in engineering from the Colorado School of Mines, William is a natural born leader. From becoming an Eagle Scout to becoming President of the Winter Park Jr. Ski Patrol in high-school, to president of the Bates College Outing Club, Editor in Chief of its outdoor magazine and on to becoming an Otis Fellow with an Honors Thesis in Geology, William has been the leader of nearly every organization he's been a part of.
While working at a Denver engineering firm, William took on more and more responsibility, achieved several accomplishments and was on a management track. However, he found himself as an “intrapreneur” in a company that valued process and procedure. That’s when William began to design his future career, developing a system to use technology to care for dogs. He started the planning and design of PuppTech and eventually left his full-time position to fully dedicate himself to his venture.
William’s passion for developing the PuppComm system and almost as importantly, to building a company that offers opportunity for the team he has developed as well as the PuppTech stakeholders is demonstrated in his tremendous work ethic. He truly wants to contribute to society in a very meaningful way. He eventually wants to develop an entrepreneurship and business program for his Alma Mater so he can help other aspiring young entrepreneurs find and follow their passion.
