Tech roundup: Denver ranked best place to live, Ibotta gives cash back for beer and more

Denver top-ranked by U.S. News & World Report

In news that isn’t really news to people who live here, Denver was ranked the No. 1 best place to live in the U.S. by U.S. News & World Report. The report cites an attractive job market among reasons for the ranking. Colorado springs also made the list, coming in at No. 5 overall. Cash back for beer with Ibotta and Anheuser-Busch

This week,

announced a partnership with Anheuser-Busch to launch cash back on A-B products at bars, restaurants and retail outlets. Consumers who use the Ibotta app will get $4 back after purchasing an Anheuser-Busch product. ROInnovation acquires Boulder Logic

Boulder Logic announced this week it has been acquired by Denver’s

. The competing CRM companies said in a release the acquisition will help ROInnovation further impact the B2B customer reference management industry, accelerating the B2B sales process. ROInnovation closed $1 million in capital funding in order to support the acquisition. ROInnovation said they plan to retain all Boulder Logic employees as they navigate the acquisition. [Press release]

 

Keysight Technologies relocating Englewood team to Colorado Springs

This week, California-based Keysight Technologies announced plans to relocate their customer support team from Englewood to Colorado Springs between 2017 and 2019. The company, which manufactures test and measurement equipment and software, already employs 450 people in Colorado Springs. Members of their 200-person customer support team must decide by next year whether they want to transfer as well. [Tech company to bring 200 jobs to Colorado Springs, The Gazette]

 

SolidFire CEO says they will stay in Boulder

Following their acquisition by NetApp,

CEO Dave Wright says the company will stay in Boulder. Wright said employees who have shared functions with NetApp are transitioning out of SolidFire, but they are hiring for 15 to 20 engineering positions in Boulder.
